I took a leap of faith and advertised in a magazine for the first time. I find ad rates so expensive but when a particular Philippine publication decided to lower their rates by half, I took the bait. Here’s our ad..
When I was in college, I was glued to the TV when Doogie Howser MD was on. Something about a teenager being a nerdy doctor seemed cool to me.. Well, we all know that Neil Patrick Harris made a terrific comeback in How I met your Mother but I became sentimental when he did this in Saturday Night Live..
After a blogging hiatus… I’m back! The long silence was made up of holidays, family and knitting (believe it or not!). Photography was in the back burner as I gave myself back to my kids and husband during the Christmas Season.. though I was able to take this picture of my nephew Rafa looking for more presents! And as the first post for the year, I want to shoot down the idea that 2009 is going to be a gloomy year because of the economy. I’m in a rush of excitement and happiness because my eldest daughter Arianna passed Ateneo (her first choice in colleges) for this coming school year. This is totally the Lord’s victory because she’s homeschooled (so we thought we weren’t going to be taken seriously) but me of so little faith!!!!
In Jeremiah 29:11-13 it says “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”
Let’s all pray and the Lord will indeed listen for HE is bigger than any economic crisis and HIS plans are for our good!
I always do the math when someone asks me my age.. probably because when you’re over 30 you experience selective age amnesia
Today I turn 38 years old. I’m presently sitting in my pajamas in bed downing a bar of Toblerone and watching Oprah. And to think I told myself last week that I’d be running and doing yoga this week. Talk about false expectations.. Well, that’s what you earn when you turn a certain age.. the right to replace running shoes with legal addictive and fattening stimulants! I just finished editing the pictures of a recent wedding so I deserve a break. It is, after all, my birthday! I’d like to thank all the couples whose wedding I shot this year, you made my year more colorful. I’d like to thank the teachers in our school for giving me a recording of Sharon Cuneta wishing me a happy birthday.. take a listen
Thanks to my friends who bombarded my Facebook wall with greetings. And of course, thanks to my husband and kids for planning to watch Bolt with Mommy today. Praise God for this long list of things to be thankful for today ![]()
In the cool afternoon of November 29, Peter and Cha tied the knot in the beautiful Caleruega church in Nasugbu, Batangas. The reception followed in Splendido, Tagaytay CIty.
Some details..
Prep time..
I love it when the parents get primped as much as the bride and groom…
The bride started out with wearing a robe but when I saw what she was wearing underneath… well, you be the judge..
You can’t go wrong when you have a gorgeous bride…
The groom is equally gorgeous.. it runs in the family, don’t you think?
Here comes the bride..
Bishop Bacani officiates..
It’s official!
Taking advantage of the glorious sunset….
Give them some privacy, best man Stephen..
It was a long walk back to the car that the bride had to remove her 3-inch heels..great photo opp, though..
To Peter and Cha, may the Lord shower your marriage with love, peace and strength. You have blessed our lives

It’s the season of thanksgiving for all the blessings we have received. Seriously, Dennis and I need rest after keeping up with the Lord’s faithfulness in our photography. So we pause and give thanks for the strength, wisdom and inspiration He has blessed us with..
We just shot a beautiful wedding in a beautiful church in a beautiful city… here’s a “private” peek…
Everyone knows I’m a big fan of Moleskine notebooks. I think this site’s statistics sky-rocketed when Moleskinerie, the site that promotes the notebooks around the world featured my post about bringing my daughter Bea out and the whole date was all about us doodling on a Moleskine notebook
Moleskine forever!
I love Guitar Hero and I love Heidi Klum, put them together and you have a video that would make you put on your sweats and hit the gym… or at least watch that Core Secrets DVD.. She has 3 kids, I have 3 kids. Life’s not fair.
