What a great experience! My photography talk at our church was a success. Thanks to the wonder of a woman Ammi Armas for organizing the whole event. I can’t get a better assistant than my good friend Abel Raule who prepared the food and drinks. My sidekick for the night was, of course, my husband [...] On May 18, 1999, I gave birth to a 6.3 pound baby girl. My husband couldn’t believe it was a girl (even with numerous ultrasounds!). We named her Barbara Isabelle after my mom. Yesterday she turned 9 Happy birthday, Bea girl! We love you! I didn’t have doves at my wedding. When I Googled what the significance of doves being released at weddings was, I got several versions. But the one that shocked me the most is that in some countries, doves are actually banned to be released in the “wild” so they release pigeons! So does this change [...] I’ll be speaking in Word Community Church on May 24, 2008 (Saturday) for the church’s Women’s Festival. The title of the talk is “Meaningful Memories: Take Great Pictures of Family and Friends”. The goal is mainly to love whatever camera you own and especially, how to use those 1-3 letter acronyms that no one understands [...] In celebration of Mother’s Day, I’d like to honor all the mothers of the brides and grooms whose wedding I shot. My mom passed away before I got married so whenever I have a wedding gig, I extremely enjoy the conversations I have with the mothers of the bride and groom. I tease them about [...] It was a first for me last Sunday. I shot a wedding wherein I knew not only the couple but most of the guests as well. It turned out to be so much fun because of the jostling of the crowd as we went around taking their pictures. To Chris and Chat, congratulations! In the words [...] S-O-R-R-Y to those who are using a PC and thought the pictures sucked because they were all pixelated! I use a MAC and all the pictures turn out great. Then I got comments from my brides that when they viewed their pictures, they were kinda pixelated. So of course, I panicked and called my husband [...] Almost daily, I check the cpanel of my website (which by the way is currently under very good hands for an overhaul:) and I always see The Philippines’ premier online forums for women Female Network/Girl Talk as a reference point of some of my site’s visitors.
