We started the month of love with a great wedding at Word Community Church. It was such a lovely wedding that our job was easy. It’s always lovely to see a pack of women (in this case the MOH, the MOB and the sponsor) trying to help the bride into the dress.. I found this [...] I was excited to shoot this wedding because for the first time, the couple actually allowed me to take portrait shots BEFORE the ceremony. The reason why photographers like this is because we are usually just allowed 15 to 20 minutes after the ceremony to shoot portraits before the bride and groom get whisked away [...] My sister’s getting married on my birthday this year. I’m the maid of honor and as one of my roles as MOH, I get to take pictures of the preparations. She had her first fitting of her gorgeous dress by Len Nepomuceno-Guiao. We obviously don’t believe in the Filipino belief of not wearing the dress [...] In the cool afternoon of November 29, Peter and Cha tied the knot in the beautiful Caleruega church in Nasugbu, Batangas. The reception followed in Splendido, Tagaytay CIty. Some details..

I love it when the parents get primped as much as the [...] I didn’t have doves at my wedding. When I Googled what the significance of doves being released at weddings was, I got several versions. But the one that shocked me the most is that in some countries, doves are actually banned to be released in the “wild” so they release pigeons! So does this change [...] It was a first for me last Sunday. I shot a wedding wherein I knew not only the couple but most of the guests as well. It turned out to be so much fun because of the jostling of the crowd as we went around taking their pictures. To Chris and Chat, congratulations! In the words [...] When work piles up, it’s so tempting to give the album lay-out job to someone else. Then when I finally get some time to work on it, I’m hooked! If you’re like me who checks out Strobist and Flash Flavor everyday for tips on using your flash, here’s a great example of zapping out the ambient light with a strobe/flash.
